The Experience

Thank you so much for taking the time to go through my work. I really hope you liked what you saw. Whether this is your first time hiring a photographer or not, I think it’s important you know what you are getting into to make sure we’re a good fit for each other. I want you to be sure the experience I’ll give you is everything you could dream of and more.

Take some time to read through my approach and what to expect because the experience you have with your photographer strongly reflects in your photos!

01.

Invest in memories.

Photography should be more than something on your checklist of things to do for your wedding. You don't realize it now while you are so focussed on your wedding decor, guestlist, clothes and florals - but photography is the only thing that will last past your wedding day. These photographs will only increase in value over time as they get passed down through generations.

I am extremely passionate about the images I make and intend on delivering an experience that reflects the value of meaningful and authentic photographs that will last a lifetime.

The cake will be eaten,
The flowers will wither,
But your photos will last forever.

02.

Connection & trust.

I invest a lot of time and energy in developing a relationship with you and your close friends and family. It is very important for you to have complete confidence in my ability and be yourself while I enjoy the wedding and make pictures.

Weddings are unforgiving with regards to space and being there, in the thick of things, with my big camera/s, and being relatively invisible to not interfere with the goings on requires a tremendous amount of trust. This is what leads to real moments while being inches away. Connection and trust fosters all sorts of good things. I'm not a vendor and you're not my client. We're friends.

Photos of people,
not of poses.

03.

Embrace fun & laughter.

I like having fun. I want to really enjoy your wedding day. I want you to enjoy your wedding day. And together, we'll make some nice pictures along the way.

I want you to be able to look back at these photos for decades and feel the happiness you feel right now. I want them to be meaningful to you. I want them to speak your truth. Because that’s what this is really all about.

Fun first,
always!

04.

Unposed & true to you.

My style is heavily focused on real moments. I'm not going to make you do any cheesy shit that feels forced. Nothing staged, nothing set up, no awkward half-smiles. It’s the real good stuff. We create together.

I make sure that the way I’m interacting, shooting, and editing is reflective of who my couples are and how things actually felt. It’s a lot of small little things like this that go a long way.

Nothing staged,
nothing forced,
only genuine moments.

05.

Here to help you.

You probably haven’t been a bride or groom before so you’re figuring all of this stuff out as you go. Since I’ve been to hundreds of weddings, I have a lot of know-how when it comes to all of the details. The to dos, not to dos, how to get the most out of your day, create memories with your friends and family, plan, prepare, and all kinds of other info on how to get ready for your wedding I’ll make sure and share with you. I’m happy to help in any big or little ways that I can to make sure this is a stress-free experience for you!

A friend in need,
is a friend indeed.
