A Mas Rosset Wedding to Remember: Sophie, James, and the Craziest Wedding Party

Mas Rosset. Tucked away in the rolling hills of Girona, where the air is fresher, the wine flows like tap water (bless the Spanish), and weddings are elevated to something that feels like a film set, but with less CGI and more cava. I recently had the pleasure—nay, the honor—of photographing the high-energy, laugh-a-minute wedding of Sophie and James, a Welsh duo who could probably out-party a rugby team celebrating a Six Nations win.

Now, if you’re imagining a sweet couple who quietly exchange vows under the Spanish sun before retiring to sip tea, let me stop you right there. These two were a riot. James and Sophie could probably get an entire room dancing even if there wasn’t music. The kind of people you want at every party.

The ceremony itself was lovely—romantic, heartfelt, the kind of thing that makes you believe in love all over again. But the reception? Well, let’s just say it was so crazy I can’t publish those photos. PG 13 what not. Anyhoooo, enjoy!

The Venue: Mas Rosset’s Charm

Mas Rosset is one of those places that looks like it’s been plucked straight out of a glossy coffee table book titled “Dreamy Wedding Venues to Make Your Friends Jealous.” Think rustic elegance, sprawling lawns, and corners so charming you half expect them to come with their own love story. It’s the kind of place that whispers, “Yes, your Pinterest board was worth it.”

From the moment you arrive, you’re met with a sense of calm. But let me tell you, Sophie and James brought anything but calm to their big day.

Why Mas Rosset Is Perfect for Your Wedding

Mas Rosset isn’t just a venue—it’s a vibe. It’s perfect for couples who want to blend elegance with a sense of fun. The team there knows how to create a setting that feels intimate yet grand, relaxed yet refined.

As a photographer, it’s a gift to work with a venue that has so many picture-perfect spots. Whether it’s the the lush gardens, or the charming interiors, there’s no shortage of backdrops for your “we’re-in-love-and-we-know-it” moments.

Sophie and James’ wedding was a day to remember, not just for them, but for everyone lucky enough to be there—myself included. If you’re planning a wedding at Mas Rosset (or anywhere else for that matter), let’s chat.

I promise to bring my camera, my knack for capturing crazy dance moves, and a sense of humor sharp enough to keep up with your best man’s speech.
